Robert M. Yturralde, Jr

Robert M. Yturralde, Jr., 74, of Ferndale Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place. A Vigil is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2015, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2015, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Martin Cordero officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Robert M. Yturralde, Jr. was born December 26, 1940 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Robert and Refugia (Martinez) Yturralde, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. On behalf of the entire Yturralde family, specifically Cici, Benjamin, Sr., Yvonne Swedo, John, Henry and Naomi (who were not able to be present) we wish to express our sincere gratitude to honor us with your presence at the celebration of Roberto Yturralde's life. Survivors are his wife, Cecilia Yturralde of Carlsbad, NM; children: Benny Yturralde of Carlsbad, NM, Yvonne Swedo and husband, Keith of California, Henry Yturralde of Carlsbad, NM, John Yturralde and wife, Patsy of Carlsbad, NM, Naomi O'Riley and husband, Brian of Nevada; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters: Rita Ybarra, Rachel Salmon and Rosalinda Gutierrez.
