Robert L. "Bobby" Lynch

Robert L. “Bobby” Lynch, 66, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 in Timberon, New Mexico. 

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time. 

Robert was born December 20, 1957 to Lucy Iola (Quesinberry) and James Elmer Lynch in Charleston, West Virgina. Bobby graduated from Van High School in West Virginia in 1976. He moved to Carlsbad, NM in the late 1970’s and worked for Intrepid Potash for many years. He had a passion for motorcycles, and was a member of a motorcycle club called the Desert Dawgs. His biker name was “Wolf,” and he thought of himself as a lone wolf. His favorite hobby was bowling. Bobby also was a musician in several bands. Later in life he moved to Timberon, New Mexico to enjoy the outdoors and the solitude of the mountains. 

Bobby is survived by his wife, Stephanie Lynch; stepsons, Blake Shmidt and Kyle Borger; brother, Bill Lynch and wife, Sherry of Kennewick, Washington; sister, Betty Brown of Wharton, WV; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces. 

Bobby was preceded in death by both parents, Lucy and James Lynch; sister, Debbie Crawford; brother, Larry Lynch; brother-in-law, Larry Brown; nephew, Jeff Crawford.
