Obituary Robert Garcia-Zuniga, 72, of S. 7th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away June 10, 2019 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Saul Aguirre and Joe Gomez officiating. Robert was born December 27, 1946 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonio and Magdelena Zuniga Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesus Roberto Garcia; one brother and one sister. Survivors are his wife, Marisela Garcia; sons: Rocio Garcia, Gabriel Garcia Corona and Liliana en Ciso; daughter, Elizabeth Garcia; grandchildren: Janeth Barraza, Brenda Garcia, Daniel Barraza, Bryan Garcia, Elian Garcia, Lesly Garcia Yadliz-Ruiz, Edgar Garcia, Alexa Garcia and Jozhiel Ruiz; 6 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters and one brother.
