Obituary Robert G. Ogas, Jr., 67, of N. 11th Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home. Visitation will be 6:00 PM 7:00 PM, Friday, June 15, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church. A vigil is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Friday, June 15, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Cordero officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Robert G. Ogas, Jr. was born July 27, 1950 in Carlsbad, NM to Robert D. and Arselia (Griego) Ogas. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1969. Robert loved music, playing his guitar and he was an avid Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons: Estevan and Armando Ogas; brothers: Gilbert and Allen Ogas. Survivors are his wife, Glenda Ogas; son, Martin Ogas; several step children; six grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
