Robert E. Johnson

Robert "Bob" E. Johnson, 62, of W. Tansill Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away April 5, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, April 15, 2016, 1:30 PM, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Garry Schwalk officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Robert "Bob" E. Johnson was born September 3, 1953 in Nogales, Arizona to William Howard and June Nildred (Wickersham) Johnson. He was a longtime resident of Carlsbad. Bob worked at Mosaic Potash for 37 years, retiring in 2015. He loved fishing and camping. Bob also enjoyed life and being himself. He worked hard but loved gardening for relaxation. Survivors are his son, Robert A. Johnson and wife, Lynn of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Brian Reider, J.R. Dominguez, Kyla Johnson and Erin Johnson; brothers: Bruce Johnson of Casa Grande, Arizona, Bill Johnson of Arizona; sisters: Barbara Gould of Las Cruces, NM, Shirley Ramos of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
