Robert E. Cary

Robert E. Cary, 62, of Peppertree Place, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home. There will be no public visitaiton and cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Walter Huber officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Robert E. Cary was born December 27, 1952 in Clovis, New Mexico to Boss and Marjorie (Bennett) Cary. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1970. Robert moved to Carlsbad and went to work for Elmac Corp. which later was Ingersoll-Rand. In 1985 Ingersoll-Rand closed the Carlsbad office and Robert then formed Cary Enterprise which provided parts and equipment for underground mining. Robert married Michelle June 22, 1995 here in Carlsbad. Because of his great love for old classic cars, he was instrumental in forming CARS (Carlsbad Automotive Restoration Society). He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife, Michelle Cary of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Angela Cary of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Brent Jackson of Las Cruces, NM, Blayne Jackson of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughter, Ashlyn Saldana; brother, Troy Glenn Cary and wife, Susan of Azle, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
