Obituary Robert Castillo Carrasco, age 75, of Standpipe Road Carlsbad, New Mexico peacefully passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by his wife and daughters. Robert was born on September 6, 1943 in Carlsbad, NM to Nicolas and Elvira Carrasco. Robert was a kind and caring person who loved his wife, kids and grandchildren dearly, and they meant the world to him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his friends and family. Robert will be missed and remembered always. He was preceded in death by his father, Nicolas Carrasco; son Nicky Carrasco; daughter, Samantha Suver; and four brothers: Luis Carrasco, Roque Carrasco, Gilbert Carrasco, and Freddy Carrasco. Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Carrasco of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Debbie Carrasco of Odessa, TX; daughter, Christina Carrasco and partner Nino of Colorado; daughter, Nancy Arthur and husband, John of Roswell, NM; daughter, Bobbie Doubrava and husband, Jason of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Brittney Tuttle and husband, Gerald of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Elvira Carrasco of Carlsbad, NM; sister Frances Galindo and husband, Gilbert of California; sister Gloria Galindo and husband, Antonio of California; sister Dora Howell and husband, Tom of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Bennie Carrasco of Carlsbad, NM; brother Nick Carrasco and wife, Misty of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Denton Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Jones officiating.
