Robert "Bob" Acklin, 72, of Margaret Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Bob requested that cremation take place and there be no public service. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
