Rob Stockwell

Rob Stockwell, age 50, passed away on July 1, 2022 in Cisco, Texas.  He was born November 2, 1971 in Wheat Ridge, CO to Bob and his mother, Hedi Stockwell who preceded him in death January 2022, and a son, Caleb, who preceded him in death.  Rob graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1990.  He owned and operated Hip-O Taxidermy Studio in Alpine, Texas where he won many ribbons and competitions with his taxidermy work.  Formerly of Carlsbad, Rob worked at the Wase Isolation Pilot Plant, where he worked in the electrical shop, underground and with the environmental department.

Survivors include his father, Bob Stockwell of Carlsbad; son, Chance Stockwell of Carlsbad; sister, Terri Richards and husband, Steve of Carlsbad and brother, Tom Tipps and wife, Cyndy of Albuquerque, NM; three nephews: Derrick, Casey and Shaun Richards of Carlsbad; niece, Stephanie Contreras and husband, Raul of Albuquerque; four grandchildren: Caiden, Camden, Cambrie and Carsten Stockwell; great-niece: Tracie Richards, all of Carlsbad.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 15, 2022 at Carlsbad Cemetery (old section) with Chaplain Mike Adams officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
