Ricky Eugene Meade

Ricky Eugene Meade passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his home. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, December 13, 2010, 10:00 AM at Sunset Church of Christ with Brian McGonagill officiating. He was born June 4, 1960 in Scottsdale Arizona to William Eugene and Laura (McGonagill) Meade. He was preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Meade; grandparents: George and Laurah McGonagill and Guy and Odessa Meade and cousin, Corena Meade. Ricky lived and grew up in Garland, TX. He moved to Carlsbad in 2001. Ricky always had a chipper personality and a positive outlook and loved spending time with family. He liked the outdoors and loved hunting and especially fishing, he would go every chance he could. Ricky was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Stella Garcia of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Laura Meade of Carlsbad; two daughters: Jennifer Meade and Angela Meade both of Norman, Oklahoma; brother, Randy Meade and wife, Katherine of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Lisa Meade of North Carolina; grandchild, Landon Babe of Norman, Oklahoma; niece, Chasity Garza and husband, Frank of Lubbock, TX; three nephews: Randal Sivess, Jimmy Sivess and Ricky Dale Sivess all of North Carolina; great-niece, Joslyn Garza and great-nephew, Cisco Garza both of Lubbock, TX and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
