Richard A. Duran, 73, of 59th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at his home in Albuquerque, NM.
There will be no visitation and no public services, cremation has taken place.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Richard A. Duran was born July 5, 1941 in Carrizozo, New Mexico to Theodoro and Josefina (Aragon) Duran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodoro and Josefina Duran of Roswell, NM; older brother, Manuel Duran of Roswell, two younger brothers, Rumaldo Duran and Billy Duran both of Albuquerque, NM; two younger sisters: Genevieve Duran, Helen Duran; daughter, Cheryl Duran of Odessa, TX; two grandsons: Freddie Len Soto of Roswell, NM, Claudio Soto of Odessa, TX and daughter-in-law, Tina Duran of Odessa, TX.
Survivors are his wife, Lila Duran of Odessa, TX; daughter, Laurie Soto and husband, Freddie of Odessa, TX; son, Richard Duran of Odessa, TX; grandchildren: Armando Soto, Julie Soto, Carlos Soto, Lorina Suarez, Ryan Gibson; great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Camargo, Carlos Soto, Jr., Gabriel Soto, Hailey Evans, Faith Brewester, Bryce Brewester; sisters: Nina Hernandez, Mary Espinoza, Terry Chavez, Evelyn Silva, Judy Gonzalez all of Roswell, NM; brothers: Gene Duran and Robert Duran of Albuquerque, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
