Rey Corella

Rey Corella, 46, of West Birch Lane, Loving, NM, passed away August 15, 2015. There will be no public visitation, cremation has taken place. A Vigil is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2015, 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Loving, NM. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Pasala Hruday Kumar officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rey Corella was born May 1, 1969 in Lakeview Terrace, California to Reynaldo and Sophia (Dominguez) Corella. He married Maria Granado on October 19, 1991 in Las Vegas. Rey and Marie lived in Los Angeles, California for several years and then moved to Loving. He worked as a glazier by trade and most recently he was working for Mosaic Potash. Rey enjoyed fishing, working on the cars with his kids and grilling for the family. He was preceded in death by his father, Reynaldo Corella. He is survived by his wife, Marie Corella of Loving, NM; daughter, Reyvon Corella of Loving, NM; sons: ReyJordan Corella, Jovan Corella, Javen Corella all of Loving, NM; mother, Sophia Guevara of Los Angeles, CA. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Granado, Sr., Adan Granado, Sr., Oscar Granado, Sr., John Vasquez, Rich May, Hector Ramirez, Johnny Ramirez and Pascual Hernandez.
