Renee Dehahn

Alice Renee DeHahn, age 56, was a life-long resident of Carlsbad, New Mexico. She passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2024. Visitation will be Wednesday August 14, 2024, from 5:00- 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday August 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Landmark Baptist Church, 509 N. Eighth Street. Pastor Destry McDonald will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Renee was born February 26, 1968, to Ronnie and Velda (Cupp) Hudson. She attended school in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Renee married Bernard Richard DeHahn February 23, 2010, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Renee was a friend to all and always had a story to tell. She was an active member of Landmark Baptist Church where she regularly attended the Overcomers Restoration Program. She loved to listen to sermons online and study God’s word. Renee enjoyed playing dice, spending time with family and friends, learning about her ancestry, writing, and drawing.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard DeHahn; three granddaughters: Ashlen Jade Boyd, Emily Lynn Boyd, and Natalie Nicole Boyd; one grandson Ethan Ray Hudson; and her brother Ricky Hudson. Survivors include her daughters Vanessa, Trisha, and Ashley; two sisters; ten grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Carl Hester, John Chumbley, Chris Grondin, Craig Walker, Scotty Hudson, Teddy Hudson, Billy Burnell and Jamarcquers Pitts. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great nephews, and great nieces.

Memorial donations can be made to Overcomers Restoration at Landmark Baptist Church, an organization that held a special place in Renee’s heart.
