Raul Arreola, Jr.

Raul Arreola Jr., age 47, resident of Carlsbad, passed away on Sunday August 20, 2023. Raul was born in Carlsbad, NM on June 7, 1976, to Raul Arreola Sr. and Roseann Rodriguez. He was raised and attended school in Carlsbad, and graduated from Carlsbad High School in May of 1995. He was married on June 8th, 1996 to Tracey Lopez, whom he shares four kids with. In his life Raul loved working on cars, building and working on houses, and could always be found listening to his music. He was always laughing and joking around, and enjoyed sharing that with others. 

He is survived by his four children, Mariah Arreola, Zariah Arreola, Raul Santana Arreola, and Zackariah Arreola, all of Carlsbad. His mother Roseann Guster of Hobbs, NM, grandmother Teresa Arreola of Carlsbad, and one grandson, John Wells, also of Carlsbad. He is preceded in death by his father Raul Arreola Sr., sister Melissa Arreola, nephew Christopher Mills, and stepfather Hugh Guster.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life and Potluck will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 413 Pavilion Ln., Carlsbad, NM at the Pavilion Number One.
