Obituary Randy L. Jim, 55, of N. Olive Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 9, 2019 at his home. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at First Christian Church with Rev. David W. Rogers officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Randy was born December 1, 1964 in Santa Clara, California. He volunteered at the soup kitchen many years. Randy never met a stranger and will be remembered for his hardy laugh. He could often be seen riding his bike and most importantly he loved spending time with his daughter. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Leo Willie Jim; stepfather, Adolfo Munoz; stepfather, Richard Carlsen and stepson, Eric Munoz. Survivors are his sons: Randy Jim, Jr. and Michael B. Jim; daughter, Randa Jim; stepson, Victor Munoz; mother, Judy Munoz; grandchildren: Jack and Scarlette Jim; siblings: Rosemary Dodd and husband, Michael, Shannon McKinney and husband, Thomas, Monica Munoz and Jesse Lopez, Danny Martinez, Denise Ingram and husband, Larry, Diane Munoz and numerous nieces and nephews.
