Ramona B. Franco

Ramona B. Franco, 90, of Plum Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Landsun Homes. There will be no pubilc visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Jehovah's Witnesses-Spanish, 502 South Guadalupe Street, Carlsbad. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ramona B. Franco was born on April 14, 1923 in Riodosa, Texas to Reyes Baiza. She liked to hang out at McDonalds. Ramona loved to walk around. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses-Spanish. Ramona enjoyed singing, especially while she cooked. She was preceded in death by her mother; five sisters and two brothers. Survivors are children: Francisco Franco and wife, Maria of Carlsbad, NM, Petronilo Franco, Jr., Sammy Franco, Willie Franco, Lydia Salcido and husband, Nick, Gloria Vigil and husband, Orlando all of Carlsbad, NM, Hector Franco of Albuquerque, NM, David Franco and wife Fidela of Carlsbad, NM; 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
