Ramon C. Morales

Ramon C. Morales, 73, of Ironwood Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, 2012, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, March 2, 2012, 2:00 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ramon C. Morales was born on January 17, 1939 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Elauterio and Juana (Chavez) Morales. He liked buying cars, mechanic work and welding. Ramon also enjoyed gardening and yard work. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Ramon Morales; sister, Manuela Morales; and grandson, Arturo Morales. Survivors are his wife, Ester Morales of Carlsbad, NM; children: Auturo Morales and wife, Eva, Carlos Morales, Francisco Morales and wife, Lupe, Pedro Morales, Juanita Gonzales and husband, Javier, Elvira Torres and husband, Ismael, Mario Saucedo Morales, Juanita Bravo, Ramon Bravo, Connie Vega and husband, Rumaldo, Lupe Manriquez and husband, Carlos and Miguel Morales and wife, Perla; 44 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; four brothers, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
