Rafael Gerardo Aguilera passed away recently at the age of 52. He will forever be remembered for his life which touched too many people to count. He began life in Carlsbad, New Mexico where he made numerous friends throughout his childhood. Many remember him from his Caveman band years where he played multiple instruments. It was at Carlsbad High where he met his future wife, Belinda Garcia. He soon began a job at Albertson's there in Carlsbad. He later moved to Cedar Hill, Texas and then to DeSoto, Texas. He continued to work for Albertson's for over 20 years. He later went to work for Whole Foods Market. This would be his last stop in an illustrious meat cutting career that allowed him to achieve many professional milestones, which included him running his own market at one time.
When he wasn't at work, he was busy raising four rapidly growing boys. He did everything he could for them and more. He was a baseball coach, a fishing instructor, a basketball guru, and occasionally showed off his dance moves. As you remember his life try not to bury in sorrow but rejoice that you had the chance to ever know him. He was, and forever will be, Rafael Gerardo Aguilera, a champion amongst men.
