Priscilla H. Haug

Priscilla H. Haug, 63, of Samoa Ct., Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away October 30, 2009 at her home. Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2009, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A vigil is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2009, 7:00 PM at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2009, 10:00 AM, at St. Edward Catholic Church, 209 N. Guadalupe, Carlsbad, NM with Fr. Cyprian Uline, OFM, Conv. officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Priscilla H. Haug was born on October 10, 1946, in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Feliciano (Felix) and Celestina (C de Baca) Otero. Priscilla traveled all over the world and lived all over the United States as well as Saudi Arabia and Iran. Priscilla was a very dedicated grandmother, loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was also an avid seamstress and prolific reader. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband: Darold G. Haug of Carlsbad, NM; two daughters: Cristol Alvarez and husband, Dan of Houston, TX and Jennifer Barron of Idaho Falls, ID; son: Aren Haug of Las Cruces, NM; three grandchildren: Amber Measles, Chelsea Alvarez and Caetlin Alvarez all of Houston, TX; siblings: Annie Bullock and husband, Randy, Sam Otero and wife, Wanda, Jesse Otero and wife, Becky and Lisa Bellegante and husband, Gene all of Pocatello, ID; mother-in-law; Marion Haug of Las Vegas, NV; brothers and sisters in-law: Roger Haug and wife, Clar of Waseca, MN, Karvel Haug and wife, Dorcas of Parker, CO and Kevin Haug and wife, Lorrie of Las Vegas, NV, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Aren Haug, Dan Alvarez, Kevin Haug and Karvel Haug. Cremation will follow the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
