Perry L. Coleman, 85, of 1048 Pinon Lane, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away November 12, 2009 at his home.
Private family services will be held.

Perry Coleman was born July 24, 1924 in Wellington, Utah to Pernell and Verle Irene (Lawson) Coleman. The family moved to Carlsbad in 1960 and he worked for Southwest Potash and Amax Potash for over 25 years. Perry was a member of the BPOE - Elks Lodge #1520, and enjoyed hunting and tending to his large garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores Rae Livingston Coleman; sisters, Rose Coleman and Jerri Snowball; brothers: Bud Coleman, Jack Coleman, Dan Coleman, Bob Coleman and Tom Coleman.
He is survived by a daughter, Penny Lee Coleman of Carlsbad, NM; son Jack L. Coleman and wife, Sherry of Carlsbad, NM; four grandchildren: Brian Coleman and wife Shawna of Carlsbad, NM, Jodi Rae Coleman and wife, Veronica of Pampa, TX, Shawn E. Coleman and wife, P.J. of Carlsbad, NM, Jill McKibben and husband, Terry of Carlsbad, NM; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters: Leida Redford of Orlando, FL, Fawn Solcetti of Price, Utah, Maxine Brady of East Carben, Utah and Kay Evans of Salt Lake City, Utah.
