Peggy E. Williams

Peggy E. Williams, 85, of Bloomfield, New Mexico passed on Thursday July 7, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Peggy was born on December 12, 1936, in Caney, Kansas to Loren and Gertrude Duncan.

Cremation has taken place, and there are no services scheduled at this time. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Peggy had a zest for life, and always found a way to bring joy to others. She had a love for animals and especially birds. She enjoyed bowling, spending quality time with her family, working hard – didn’t retire until she was 80 – and lived life to the fullest. Peggy will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Loren Duncan; mother, Gertrude (Griggs) Duncan; and five siblings.

Peggy is survived by her son, Michael Williams and wife, Donna of Gustavus, Alaska; daughter, Debra Page and husband, Kenneth of Carlsbad, NM; thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
