Pearl E. Tiffner

Pearl E. Tiffner, 93, of W. Pierce St., passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Lakeview Christian Home. Cremation has taken place and burial will take place in West Virginia at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pearl Esther Tiffner was born July 7, 1919 in Lizemore, West Virginia to Maryland and Alice Mae (Dawson) Nichols. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dexter C. Tiffner; one brother and three sisters. Survivors are her son, Bob Tiffner and wife Cheryle of Carlsbad, NM; grandson, Roger Tiffner and wife Connie of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughter Susan Wade and husband Bob of Richland, WA; great grandchildren Clinton Tiffner, Jenna Wade and Jaxson Wade; and great-great grandchildren Graham Tiffner and twins Emma and Emery Tiffner. The family would like to thank the west wing staff and hospice staff at Lakeview Christian Home for the special care and concern they all extended to Pearl.
