Pauline Hager Standard

Pauline Hager Standard, 80, of Pinon Lane, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her home. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pauline Hager Standard was born on December 7, 1931, in Lorado, WV, to Willie and Nora (Lucas) Hager. She graduated from Mann High School in Mann, WV. Pauline married Norman Standard in Columbus, Ohio. She worked in the medical field for many years. After retiring, Norman and Pauline moved to Carlsbad in 1991. She loved her dogs, Sandy and Little Bit and enjoyed working in the yard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Standard; brother, Ermon Hager; and sister, Eunice Osborne. Survivors are her daughter, Brenda G. Forren and husband, Wayne of Pineview, WV; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
