Pauline F. Villa

Pauline F. Villa, 68, of Bryan Circle, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away May 5, 2011 at her home. Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 8, 2011, Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2011, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Bro. Dean Cruse officiating. Interment will follow in Santa Catarina, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pauline F. Villa was born July 25, 1942 in Loving, NM to Pablo and Rose (Segura) Franco. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1960. Pauline attended Regina School of Nursing in Albuquerque. She married Emilio Villa May 18, 1963 in Carlsbad. Pauline helped Emilio farm and sold Avon for several years. She decided to open a women's fashion shop, she established Pauline's Fashions in 1979. To complete the Fashion Circle, Scissor Trix was opened in 1984. She received her cosmetology license in 1992. Pauline enjoyed operating both businesses and loved her relationship with her customers. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Congregation. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include spouse Emilio R. Villa of Carlsbad; son Danny Villa of Bakersfield, CA; daughters Emily Villa of Carlsbad, NM, Beverly Richardson and husband, Matthew of Albuquerque, NM and Valerie Villa of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Joel Flores, Erica Flores, Rose Flores, Jeromie Villa, Brandon Villa, Mallorie Villa, Bryce Richardson, Thomas Richardson, Ashlyn Davis, Jaydin Davis and Krystin Villa-Guevara; grandmother: Feliz Salazar of Carlsbad, NM; sister: Elizabeth S. Segovia and husband, Vicente of Dallas, TX; nephew: Rolando Salazar and neices Erica Segovia and Krystal Segovia. Pallbearers will be Matthew Richardson, Lee Newman, Jeromie Villa, Eric Flores, Joel Flores and Rolando Salazar; Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Villa, Bryce Richardson, Jaydin Davis, Thomas Richardson and Tyler Newman.
