Paul H. Hodges

Paul H. Hodges, 62, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, in Las Cruces, NM. He was born on September 10, 1960, in Gallup, NM to Paul and Edna (Marrs) Hodges.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor John Hinze, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Paul graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1979.  He attended Phoenix Institute of Technology.  Paul worked for WIPP for many years, before retiring in 2022. He enjoyed shooting guns, riding motorcycles and adored his dogs Zoe and Zeke.

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents Ernest and Inez Hodges, Ralph and Vern Marrs.

Paul is survived by his son James Hodges and wife Kristie, of Oklahoma City, OK; parents; Paul and Edna Hodges, of Carlsbad, NM; brothers; Mark Hodges and wife, Hye Ok of San Antonio TX; Zane Hodges of Carlsbad, NM; sisters; Susan Cone and husband, Robert of Cloudcroft, NM; Pam Hinojos, of Carlsbad, NM; and several nieces and nephews.
