Patrick "Pat" T. Younger

Patrick T. "Pat" Younger, 57, of Dogwood Lane, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away September 23, 2009 at his home. A Prayer Service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 2009, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Patrick T. "Pat" Younger was born August 9, 1952 in Appleton, Wisconsin. He graduated from high school in Thorton, Colorado. Pat served his country during Vietnam in the US Army. He moved to Carlsbad in 1976 and began work at the family paint store. Pat loved watching football and never missed a Broncos game. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Younger. Survivors include daughter, Angela Hudson of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Patricia Younger of Carlsbad, NM; brother: Mike Younger and wife, Mary of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Kathleen Burton of Carlsbad, NM; nephew, Jeff Spillman and Beth Gibson of Carlsbad, NM and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
