Patricia Redick

Obituary Patricia Carol Smith Redick passed away on November 27, 2019 at the age of 64, and was followed in death by her son, Seth Redick. She was proceeded in death by her father, Ray Smith and her mother Mildred Bassett Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Tommy Redick of Carlsbad, NM, her daughter Jennifer Redick of Greeley, CO, her sister Charlene Endes and brother-in-law Ernie Endes of Carlsbad, NM. Patricia was born in El Paso, Tx on February 23, 1955. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1973, and later went on to receive her bachelors in Elementary Education. Patricia worked for SPS/Xcel Energy for close to twenty years, and was recently an educator for Carlsbad Municipal School District. Patricia was a loving wife to Tommy Redick for 45 years. They grew up within four blocks of each other, and married and raised their children in the same neighborhood. They were true soul mates and cherished and adored each other every day of their lives together. Patricia had a passion for loving and nurturing all people and especially animals. She always had a smile on her face and a beautiful laugh. She was always there to listen and give a hug for comfort or support, she'd give you the shirt off her back. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Visitation will be held at Denton-Wood Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5th, 5 PM - 7 PM. The funeral service will be held at Oasis Christian Fellowship on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Casual attire is welcomed.
