Patricia "Tricia" Gomez, 40, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Patricia was born on March 21, 1981, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Vigil starting at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2022, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Carlos Ramirez officiating. Interment will be at the Carlsbad Cemetery in Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Patricia was one of the most genuine, kind hearted person. If you were a stranger to her, she would make you feel like you had known her forever, she just had that vibe that made you love her. The most down to earth person. She had a heart of gold. She would always be willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it. No matter what the case may be. She was the one to give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. Trish was an outgoing and fun person, she loved to travel as much as she could. The Lake was one of her favorite places to be next to being on the field, because as you know, softball was her thing! She called it therapeutic going out there to hit some balls! She enjoyed being around her friends and family. She was the best, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend anyone could ask for! Although She left us too soon, she will forever be missed and forever in our hearts

Patricia was preceded in death by her grandparents: Genovava Mendoza, Juan Gomez, Armando Franko, Richard Gallegos, and Rosa Gallegos.

Patricia is survived by her mother, Alvira Hernandez; father, Manuel Beltran; four siblings: Geno Mendoza, Joe Gomez, Jr., Jissa Fox, and Chelsie Griego; seven uncles: Adan Mendoza, Senovia Mendoza, David Mendoza, Ricky Gallegos, Aurthor Gallegos (Cindy Hope), Daniel Gallegos, and Joey Gallegos; nine aunts: Esmeralda Lerma, Vera Aragon, Sophia Sebastian, Annie Brown, Helen Gallegos (Joe), Prisilla Anderson (Shawn), Erlinda Garcia (Javier), Maryann Garcia (Donnie Faulk), and Becky Byrd; nieces and nephews: Kylie Mendoza, Y’lliana Mendoza, Mavi Mendoza, Kiingeno Mendoza, and Gabriella Griego.

Pallbearers will be: Frankie Mendoza, David Mendoza, Jr., Jacob Mendoza, Julian Hernandez, Johnny Mendoza, Alex Martinez, Angelica Lopez, and Eddie Lerma. Honorary pallbearers will be: Angel Martinez, Shawn Ford, Sammy Espinoza, Sammy Mendoza, and all of her softball sisters.
