Patricia E. White

Patricia E. White, 72, of Dickson Lane, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her home. There will be no public visitation. A Graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2013, 10:30 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Richard Forrest, Jr. officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Patricia E. White was born August 21, 1940 in Bakersfield, California to Lehman and Yvonne Kathryn (Roberts) White. She was a great artist and enjoyed the outdoors. Patricia liked to cook and bake. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Patricia loved life. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, April Embrey. Survivors are son, Richard L. Embrey of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Susan Forrest and husband, Richard, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM; four grandchildren: Ashley Cameron and husband, Cash, Richard Forrest, III, Richard Embrey, Jr. and Travis Embrey; great-grandchild, Hayden Embrey; two brothers: Jerry Lee White and wife, Janet of Riverside, CA, Edward L. White, Mary of Bel Aire, CA; sister, Linda Barnett and husband, Jerry of Bakersfield, CA and many nephews and nieces.
