Patricia Brunt

Patricia Brunt, 69, of North Canal Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock Texas. There will be no public visitation. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, May 12, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Pastor D. Michael Lee officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Patricia Brunt was born on January 31, 1945, in Ft. Worth, Texas to L.B. and Hazel (Richardson) Hickman. She married Jerry Ray Brunt on May 21 , 1966. Patricia worked at Browns Grocery as a sales clerk for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Ray Brunt; sister, Darlene Cason; brothers: Sunshine Hickman and Red Hickman. Survivors are her daughter, Charlene Garlick of Carlsbad, NM; three grandchildren: Shane Patterson and wife, Nikki of Carlsbad, NM, Brit Garlick of Hobbs, NM, Tiffany Garlick of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Patterson, Justin Patterson; sister, Betty Cawthorn of Florida; brother, Bobby Hickman of Washington and numerous nieces and nephews Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
