Pat Walker

Pat Walker, 73, of Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 27, 2021 at her home. Cremation will take place and services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.

Pat was born March 11, 1948 in Owensboro, Kentucky to David and Imogene (Dossett) Miller. She graduated from high school in Poway, California in 1966. Pat married Larry Walker on December of 1977. She lived in several cities in California before moving to Carlsbad 30 years ago. Pat worked at Wal-Mart for many years. She later worked for El Grande before retiring in 2020. Pat and Larry enjoyed traveling across the U.S. in their RV. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her husband, Larry Walker; son, David Miller; daughter, Rochelle Castillo; stepsons: Larry Walker, Jr. and wife, Marcie, Mickey Walker; stepdaughter, Sherry Burnworth and husband, Todd; grandchildren: Noah Miller, Jessica Bishop, Jake Miller, Shannon Walker, Ty Burnworth, Trevor Burnworth, Garrett Burnworth and several great-grandchildren; sisters: Winnie Jackson, Mary Kernion, Randi Dudley and several nieces and nephews.
