Pamela Walker, 59, of Grayfox Circle, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away August 28, 2013 at Lakeview Christian Home.
There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Queen Cemetery with Rusty Smith officiating.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pamela Darline (Bell) Walker was born July 6, 1954 to Edwin Denny and Jewel Madeline Bell at St. Francis Hospital in Carlsbad, NM. As a little child she went on many adventures with her brother and sisters in Happy Valley. She graduated Carlsbad High School in 1972. Soon after she moved to Texas, where she would work and live in various places on the Gulf coast. Pamela married Willis Grant Walker on November 19, 1974, in Houston Texas. They spent time hunting and enjoyed spending time at the beach. They began adding to their family first with Wendalyn Gail on November 17, 1981. Shortly after the birth of Camela Darline on July 30, 1985, as a family they moved back to Carlsbad, NM. Pamela was devoted wife and mother. She went on to be with the Lord on August 28, 2013. She will be greatly missed.
Pamela is survived by her husband Willis; daughter, Wendalyn Gail and Joshua Region, grandson Walker James Region; daughter Camela Darline and Jeremy Sowers; brother Eddie and Melodee Bell; sister Pat and Glen Havard; sister Peggy and TJ Bush; brother in-law Jae Walker; sister in-law Eydie Walker; and a large and loved extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel and father, Edwin Bell; step-father Lester Mayfield and granddaughter, Liberty Darline Sowers.
