Orville "Duane" Taylor

Orville "Duane" Taylor, 61, of National Parks Highway, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away August 19, 2010 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Orville Duane Taylor was born May 24, 1949 in Independence, Missouri to Orville Dewey and Maxine Elvira (Campbell) Taylor. Duane was a veteran of the USMC, serving during the Vietnam era. He was honorably discharged. Duane lived life to the fullest and did not allow his cancer diagnosis to slow him down or alter his last years. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. "A special thank you goes out to all of Duane's medical care givers. God bless you all!" Survivors are his wife, Marilyn J. Taylor of Carlsbad, NM; son, Noa J. Taylor of Belton, Missouri; granddaughter, Phebe Taylor of Olathe, Kansas; one brother; three sisters; and numerous extended family members of Missouri.
