Nolan Reeves

Nolan Reeves, 76, of Center Avenue, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at Carlsbad Medical Center. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at his family home. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Nolan Reeves was born July 23, 1937 in Quemado, Texas to Daniel James and Chole Irene (Bymun) Reeves. He liked to fish and enjoyed playing the guitar. Nolan really liked to travel. He worked for PCA for several years in Carlsbad and as a truckdriver while he lived in Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marion Reeves. Survivors are three children: Jan Hagstrom and husband, Dave of Byron, WY, Nolan Reeves, Jr. of Farmingon, NM, Shirley Reeves of Springfield, OR; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
