Nick “Nic Nac” Trujillo, Sr., 32, of Carlgo Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at home. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation is limited to 10 people in the chapel at a time and facial coverings are required. Private services will be held at Oasis Church. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Nick was born June 26, 1988 in Hobbs, NM. He was a hard worker, working in the oilfield for many years. Nick loving the outdoors and spent many hours hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with all his family. Nick was preceded in death by his father: Mike Armijo, son: Nathaniel Trujillo and grandparents. Survivors are sons: Nicholas Trujillo, Jr., Nevin Trujillo and Lucas; daughters: Anaya and Aaliyah; granddaughter: Bellani; mother: Brenda Trujillo Garza; grandmother: Basilisa Barajas and husband, Lupe; sister: Jennifer Olsen and husband, Justin; brothers: Michael Trujillo, Jr. and wife, Marlinda, Louie Trujillo and wife, Jennifer; sister: Crystal Trujillo and Lorenzo Melendez; brother: Eric Trujillo and wife, Alyssa; sister: Cynthia Sosa and husband, Anthony and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
