Natalie Nicole Tracy, 42, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Natalie was born on July 31, 1979, in Carlsbad, NM to Francis Tracy, III and Jane (Gidak) Acosta.
Cremation has taken place, and Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, October 29, 2021, at Saint Edward Catholic Church with Father Hruday Kumar Pasala officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Natalie passed away due to complications from the heart condition she’d had since birth. She was larger than life (in a pint-sized package) with a smile that lit up a room and a laugh that was infectious. The thing Natalie loved to do most in this world was to spend time with her two boys. Tied for a distant second would be spending time with her family on ski trips, boating, and traveling. She had an adventurous spirit and she loved “all-in” with her family and friends. She did all of this while carrying the burden of the side effects from her condition boldly and courageously. It is our turn to carry on with our broken hearts and we will do so by following her example, loving “all-in”, and living boldly and courageously. We will love you always and forever, Natalie.
Natalie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Francis and Elizabeth Tracy; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Margaret Gidak.
Natalie is survived by her two sons: Odin Scott and Ajax Scott both of Carlsbad, NM; father, Francis Tracy, III and wife, Carrol of Carlsbad, NM; mother, Jane Acosta of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Jason Tracy and wife, Pamela of San Diego, CA; sister, Katrina Tracy and wife, Chauling Armijo of Albuquerque, NM; five nieces and nephews: Alexandra Tracy, Tristan Tracy, Rowan Tracy, Maggie Armijo, and Abram Armijo; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Colorado Adult Congenital Heart Disease – Anschutz Medical Campus, 12605 E. 16th Ave., Pavilion 2, 3rd Floor, Aurora, CO 80045
