While she was young, Naomi and her family moved to Sioux City, Iowa where she graduated from high school. She then met the love of her life, Raymond, and they got married on March 12, 1948, which was the beginning of their 73 years of adventures together. They then moved to California where they started their family, having two beautiful girls. Naomi was a strong, caring, and loving mother and grandmother who shared her love for Christ and her faith with them. She was an avid prayer warrior, and would always start her day off by praying for each of her family members by name. Naomi had a special way of making those who came into her family feel accepted and loved as if they were her very own. She was a great cook and baker, and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Naomi will forever be a source of love and joy to all who knew her, and will live on in their hearts.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond C. Morton; two daughters: Linda Gilliland and Beth Kneeland; great-grandson, Timothy Ray Kneeland; and three sisters: Edith, Ruth, and Ruby.

Naomi is survived by her grandson, Marc Jeremy Kneeland and wife, Noni of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughter, Christa Reese and husband, Chad of Terre Haute, IN; granddaughter, Cathy Kneeland of Midland, TX; granddaughter, Cara Kime and husband, Nathan of Terre Haute, IN; fifteen great-grandchildren.
