Nancy R. Harden

Nancy R. Harden, 71, of Solana Dr., passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011, at her home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 10:00 AM at Otis Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Wolfe officiating. Nancy R. Harden was born October 5, 1940, in Hobbs, NM to Frank Nelson and Lula Jewell (Sikes) Anderson. She married Gerald L. Harden on April 20, 1962 here in Carlsbad. Nancy worked for the City of Carlsbad and Ballard Bus Company for several years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School at Otis Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Anderson; brother, John Anderson and sister, Linda Anderson. Survivors are her husband, Gerald L. Harden of Carlsbad, NM; son, Cody L. Harden and wife, Amanda of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Logan Harden and Joshua Harden; mother, Jewell Anderson of Carlsbad, NM; brothers: Frank Anderson and wife, Bobbi of El Paso, Texas, and Benny Anderson of Mesa, Arizona; sisters: Joyce Vest and husband, Ray of Carlsbad, NM and Jannie Cramer and husband, Shafter of Carlsbad, NM; and many nieces and nephews.
