Monsez "Moe" C. Galindo Sr., 66, of Diaz, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away September 7, 2013 at Residence. Visitation will be 2:00 PM-5:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2013, Denton Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2013, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine M. Jankowski OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad, Carlsbad New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Monsez "Moe" C. Galindo, Sr. was born October 22, 1946 to Elias and Maria (Carrasco) Galindo and was raised by his uncle and aunt Roque and Rosa Carrasco. Monsez was a loving, caring, hard working man who loved his wife and family very much. He married the love of his life in 1965. Together they raised and loved their family. He was kind hearted and always willing to lend a helping hand to all. He loved God and went to be with him while surrounded by all his family. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog, Roxie. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cecelia Gonzales. Survivors are wife of 48 years, Gloria Galindo of Carlsbad, NM; children: Brenda G. Garcia and husband, Santiago of Carlsbad, NM, Monsez U. Galindo, Jr. and wife, Karen of Carlsbad, NM, Albert U. Galindo and wife Vanessa of Carlsbad, NM, Patricia U. Galindo of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Lucia Celaya and husband Joshua, Santiago Garcia III, Angel Garcia, Jacob Galindo, Jeremiah Galindo, Noah Galindo, Ivan Galindo and Emari, Nathan Galindo and Anjannette, Jared Galindo and wife Vanessa, Isis Galindo, Issiah Galindo; great-grandchildren: Joshua Celaya Jr., Jeremiah Galindo Jr., Namiah Galindo, Amarie Galindo, Odyssey Galindo; brothers: Ernesto Galindo, Alvaro Galindo, Ruben Galindo and wife, Paty, Richard Galindo and wife, Vickie and sisters: Vangelina Valenzuela and husband, Ralph, Connie Mendoza all of CA. Pallbearers are Juan Florez, Joshua Celaya, Santiago Garcia III, Angel Garcia, Jacob Galindo, Jeremiah Galindo, Ivan Galindo, Nathan Galindo, Jared Galindo.
