Mildred P. Husselman

Mildred Rich Husselman, 83, former resident, left this world to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Hobbs Health Care Center. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Graveside Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, April 4, 2011, 2:00 PM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Argo of Trinity Temple Assembly of God Church in Artesia, NM officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mildred was born on August 26, 1927 in Cisco, Eastland County, Texas to Finnis M. and Willie (Ogden) Rich. She retired from the Retania Manor Living Center in Del Rio, TX where she received many personal achievement awards. Mildred lived with her family in Denver City, TX for many years before moving to Del Rio, TX and spent her final years in Carlsbad. Mildred enjoyed reading the bible, praying and writing personal bible studies. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and her youngest son, Billy Ray Husselman. Mildred is survived by two sons: Jimmie C. Husselman of Lubbock, TX, Butch Husselman and wife, Nancy of Artesia, NM, grandchildren: Jimmy, Jason, Gina, Joylene, David, LaShelle; several great-grandchildren; two brothers: Bill Mack Rich of Carlsbad, NM and Nathan Rich of Burnett, TX.
