Mildred A. Pheiffer

Mildred A. Pfeiffer, 89, of Westridge Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away July 17, 2010 at Landsun Homes. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 10:00 AM, at Landsun Homes - Otto Chapel with Dr. Larry Krueger officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mildred A. Pfeiffer was born September 18, 1920 to Edward Schoeneberg, Sr. and Grace (Beiswinger) Schoeneberg. She married Robert Pfeiffer on December 21, 1941. During Mildred and Bud's early years of marriage they enjoyed many vacations with their daughters at the Jersey shore, always fishing. After 53 years of marriage, they retired to Florida and enjoyed their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In later years after Bud died, Mildred moved to Independent Living at Landsun Manor where she was known as the "Social Butterfly" and a very gifted woman in the arts. Survivors include two daughters: Anita Miszlai, Carlsbad, NM and Grace Miraglia of Fort Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren: Joseph Miszlai, Russell Miszlai and wife, Michelle, Lois Miraglia and Bob Miraglia, three great-grandchildren: Matt, Andrew and Jennifer.
