Mike R. Harrington, 53, of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at home. 

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life is scheduled for 4:00 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.

Mike was born in Odessa, TX on November 11, 1970. He graduated from Permian High School in 1989, and he went on to start is working career. He was a proud business owner within the oilfield community, and he was known for his hard work ethic and kindness. Mike never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back in order to help someone. He was an avid sporting clay shooter and drag racecar driver. He also enjoyed traveling and going on trips with his family. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, and friend, who will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Clay Harrington of Carlsbad, NM; two children: Stryker Davis of Carlsbad, NM; and Harlow Harrington of Carlsbad, NM; father, Roger Harrington and wife, Jenny of Midland, TX; step-sisters, Ann Braxton and Tiffany Cantrell; two uncles: Dale Harrington and Gary Harrington; cousins: Jack Harrington, Jilly Johnson, Jason Harrington, Emily Harrington, and Sarah Sledge; and numerous other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations for the Mike Harrington High Five Scholarship can be made through Venmo @mike-harrington-37 or can be dropped off at First American in Carlsbad for the Mike Harrington High Five Scholarship.
