Mike Duncan

Leslee Michael “Mike” Duncan, age 26, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, went home to be with the
Lord Friday, February 19, 2021. Visitation will be 5 PM - 7 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Visitation is limited to 5 people at a time and facial coverings are required. Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church with Jacob Reitz officiating. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed by clicking the link below:

Mike was born December 10, 1994 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Brandy Michele Beeman and Thomas Joseph “TJ” Duncan. He attended elementary and middle school in Carlsbad, New Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona. He completed high school through the Faith Baptist Church homeschool program. Mike enjoyed playing football. He played offensive and defensive lineman positions in National Youth Sports in Arizona and through the Carlsbad School Football Program. He enjoyed watching UFC and other competitive martial arts. He liked to fish, swim, and target shoot with his family. He liked online gaming with his friends. Mike taught himself how to build gaming computers and could always help his family with technology problems. He liked learning about history, especially military history. Mike and his mom shared the love of history and spent many days discussing and exploring this topic. Most of all, Mike loved people. He made friends easily and was an extremely loyal man. He never wanted anyone to be mistreated or bullied and always stood up for what was right. He had an empathetic heart full of compassion and concern for others. Mike loved his family very much and was always there to help. Mike spent a lot of time with his grandma Norma and they were very close all of his life.
Mike was baptized on October 15, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church and he was passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. He carried a heavy burden for the lost and wanted everyone to get saved. Mike was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles “Mike” Beeman and Charles Duncan.

Mike is survived by his mother, Brandy Beeman, of Carlsbad New Mexico, his father, and step-mom, TJ and April Duncan of Loving, New Mexico, his grandmothers Norma Beeman, of Carlsbad New Mexico and Georgia Duncan, of Loving New Mexico, and by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Rylee Jarratt, Casey Jarratt, Leroy Brown, Billy Melton, Billy Landreth, Andrew Lucero Garcia, Jason Wyatt and Aubrey Loftis. Honorary pallbearers are James Melton, Parker Jarratt, Phillip Jimenez, Jared Burdine, Stephen Wallen and Harley Green.
