Michele Annette Hand

Michele Annette Hand, 38, of 9th Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away May 5, 2010 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 10, 2010, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Tarvin officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Michele Annette Hand was born June 20, 1971 in Carlsbad, NM to Jerry and Diane (Whiting) Hand. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in1990. Michele loved her family especially her boys. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Michele enjoyed the outdoors and going down to the river. Survivors include her life-long companion of 25 years, Anthony DeVine of Carlsbad, NM; three sons: Daniel DeVine, Cody DeVine and Brian DeVine; parents, Jerry and Diane Hand of Carlsbad, NM; Grandfather: H. C. Whiting and wife, Angie Whiting of Carlsbad, NM; brothers, Marty Hand of Carlsbad, NM; two sisters: Lisa Hand of Carlsbad, NM, Miranda Hand of Carlsbad, NM and many other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Eli Wood, John Vernicek, Robert DeVine, Eric Whitehead, Marty Hand and Richard Gallegos. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
