Michael "Big Mike" Ray Aldaco

Michael Ray "Big Mike" Aldaco, 33, of Iris Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at his home. There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place. A Vigil is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, 2014, 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Loving, NM. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, September 5, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Loving, New Mexico with Father Pasala Hruday Kumar officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Michael Ray "Big Mike" Aldaco was born December 14, 1980 in Carlsbad, NM to Jesus Olivas and Elsie Aldaco. He enjoyed fishing, playing the play station and watching movies. Mike also liked to help all the younger kids with their homework. He never met a stranger and always had an open door for others. Mike was preceded in death by his mother; great-grandmother, great-grandfather and three uncles. Survivors are his father, Jesus Olivas of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Rita Aldaco and companion, Donnie Renfro of Carlsbad, NM; grandmother, Juanita Campos of Carlsbad, NM; aunts and uncles: Josie Aldaco, Elida and Alvaro Rico, Frank and Diana Campos, all of Carlsbad, NM; cousins: Adon "Sonny" Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Aaron Garcia, Arik Garcia, Sabby Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Jr., Daniel Rico, Sophia Rico, Eric Aldaco, Alana Campos, Gino Campos, Malerie Campos and Gionni Campos.
