Melvin enjoyed taking the family on weekend drives to the mountains, fishing, and playing the domino game of 42. He played some three-par golf after his retirement. What he really enjoyed was getting extended family together and singing gospel songs. Melvin and Edna are long-time members of Sunset Church of Christ.
