McKinley Nance

William McKinley Nance Jr. passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, NM. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 19, 2014 at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with Rev. Christopher Mohr officiating. McKinley was born August 17, 1932 in Zena, Oklahoma to William McKinley, Sr. and Zelma (Reed) Nance. He served in the U.S. Navy and was an architect by trade. McKinley married Jackie (MacDonald) Allison June 5, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Michelle Van Solloen. Other survivors include his brother, John Scott Nance, of Antioch, CO.; daughter, Dr. Jesse Nance and husband, Erich of Baltimore, MA., Cordelia Nance of Chicago, IL.; three step-daughters: Linda Nowak of Eunice, NM., Janet Bean and husband, and Mickey of Artesia, NM., Shirley Maxwell and husband, Scott of Carlsbad, NM; seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
