Mary Stachon

Mary Stachon, 90, of West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at Carlsbad Medical Center. There will be no public services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mary L. Stachon was born April 29, 1923 in Campbell, Missouri to Ira Edward and Jewell Oney (Davis) Thomas. She worked for Montgomery Insurance Company until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gale Kurgas; son, Dennis Young; husbands: Margene Young, Mark Thompson and Stanley Stachon. Survivors are her daughter, Brenda Ellison of Carlsbad; son, Gary Young and wife, Donna of Carlsbad; many grandchildren; sister, Margaret Glidewell of Caraway, Arkansas and brother, Ira Thomas of Harrison Arkansas.
