Mary O. Moreno Bustamante, 67, of Alvarado Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away March 21, 2010 in Las Cruces, NM. Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Vigil services are scheduled for Thursday, March 25, 2010, 7:00 PM at San Jose Catholic Church, 1002 De Baca. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Friday, March 26, 2010, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Rev. Antonio O. Moreno officiating. Interment will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mary O. Moreno Bustamante was born October 23, 1942 in Carlsbad, NM to Jose G. and Anita (Ortiz) Moreno. She was a Carlsbad High School graduate. Mary retired from the Carlsbad School Systems as a manager for Joe Stanley Smith Cafeteria and Alta Vista snack bar. She was a former member of Catholic Daughters of the America's - San Jose Court. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Anita Moreno and her husband, Ricardo Bustamante. She is survived by four children: Sandra Marie Bustamante, Nancy Ann Bustamante, Joanna Bustamante-Jones and husband, Kent and Ricardo Antonio Bustamante and wife, Stefanie (Kirchgaessner); five loving grandchildren: Lauren Marie Jones, Samuel Kent Jones, Benjamin Ricardo Bustamante, Nicole Renate Bustamante and Victoria Kate Bustamante; two sisters: Delia Hernandez and husband, Sabas; Connie Aranda and husband, Robert; five brothers: Eliseo Moreno and wife, Alice, Jose Moreno and wife, Stella, Rev. Antonio O. Moreno, Johnny Moreno and Ben Moreno. Pallbearers will be Eliseo O. Moreno, Jose O. Moreno, Juan O. Moreno, Freddie Martin, Robert Aranda, Jesse Moreno, Sabas Hernandez, Jr. and Thomas Hernandez.
