Mary S. Lee

Mary S. Lee, 83, past resident of Chester, VA, passed away November 5, 2021 at her home. Cremation will take place and services will be held at a later date.

Mary was born May 3, 1938 in Richmond, Virginia to George Thomas and Gladys Ruth (Davis) Simpson. She married Robert S. Lee May 31, 1957. Mary worked in several retail stores including Publix and Piggly Wiggly. Church and family were always a priority in her life. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert S. Lee and great-grandson, Caleb Rainwater.

Survivors are her children: Terry Booth and husband, Hugh of Watertown, Wisconsin, Robert “Bubba” Lee of Watertown, Wisconsin, Sharon Howatt and husband, Rick of Ozark, Alabama and Kim Rainwater and husband, Ron of Carlsbad, New Mexico; grandchildren: Heather and husband, Jason, Robbie, Alex and husband, Peter, Rebecca, Ricky, Nicholas, Ron, III and wife, Ashley, Crystal and husband, Daniel; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy Simpson and wife, Anita and several nieces and nephews.
